Setai Miami Apartment

Miami Beach, Florida, 2017

The Setai in Miami is an exclusive high-rise hotel and residency building on the shores of Miami Beach. The project was a combination of two apartments on the top floor covering the south half of the building with incredible views and balconies from each side. Plainspace was tasked to complete the apartment that had begun two years earlier but was in trouble with a questionable builder. After 18 months of previous construction work, we began the project with an empty space. The more challenging restriction was the entire apartment had to be completed within eight months and be finished before the winter visiting season in October. Plainspace’s role on this project was one of Owners Representative but also Project Manager as all new contractors were coordinated and material and construction entities were brought in which would perform at the highest levels The design came from a Parisien Architect who was no longer involved in the project but left very specific drawings and specifications of the elements within the apartment. The project was completed in under eight months.
