SoHo Broadway Loft II
Flatiron District, New York, 2010
This early project was in the same building in the Soho Flatiron Historical District as one of our other projects but on a higher floor which exposed the southern party wall to existing fenestration and natural light. The relatively narrow floor plate changed dramatically with the ability to orient the spaces on views and the daily movement of the sun. The client was a young couple who were planning to start a family and the expansion of the family was organized into the apartment layout in a way that made baby care convenient and comfortable. The final project was extremely successful and the family grew to four.
